Daily YouTube Video:Be patient, the podcast is coming up!
Just as the Arctic Wolf uses the snow and ice to cunningly catch prey by surprise, I feel too that the frosty air is stirring my artistic instinct to create in order to surprise those who follow my work.
The past week I've been slowing transforming into a more thoughtful and creative persona instead of the care-free and sometimes emo self I was. Usually this time of year is when I become more creative and resourceful in what I do, meaning that I'm not going to produce the same character poses that I've been doing for years. I really want to expand my artistic horizons and create in different mediums aside from the generic digital medium that many artists use. After all, as my entire art history course has taught me, in order to become better in the art world, you have to create pieces that deviate from the norm and cause others to take notice of different perspectives and mediums.
I'm very glad with the "Kami Strikes Back" results and I'm ensuring that I'm putting my best work into this blending of Aokamidu's comic world with my very own.
Aside from that, I'm very sorry to inform all of you, but I not only have to delay the comic, but the podcast as well due to December finals and my birthday on December 1. I'm overwhelmed with college work and tests and I just don't have any time to create new works until this semester comes to a close. I sincerely apologize, but I refuse to choose drawing a comic over my grades. Surely you guys will understand and be patient just a little longer. I can assure you all that the first page will be up and running during my Christmas Break.
Anyway, I'm sorry if this journal is out of place in some areas and going out of context, but I feel more creative and motivated than ever before. So, all I ask is that all of you remain patient until the end of this semester and give a warm welcome to "Kami Strikes Back" when it goes up on DeviantArt and FurAffinity next month. I'm very proud of my work and I hope all of you will enjoy it to some extent. I do apologize for all of the delays and such, but lets face it: College is completely unpredictable and it's hard to draw and create when your wrists are tied down with essays and other assignments. I can assure you that December will be a more promising month.
I truly thank all of those who have supported me, mew and old, and I hope that what I produce will be enjoyed by all. Also, there's so many folks I have to thank for helping me become a better person in the last two months, but you know who you are. Thank you guys for everything, you truly are the driving force behind my creativity and art. Take care and see you guys in December

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit. - The Tick
